Michael Dunyon Obituary (1953 - 2006)

"Papa" Michael Dunyon, age 53, went into his heavenly father’s arms to be taken care of on October 15th 2006. Survived by his wife, Dawna Dunyon; daughters, Melanie Lackey, Sarah Steele, and Callie Dunyon; 6 brothers, 6 sisters and 16 grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Phillip Dunyon and brother Jay. Everyone who knew Michael knew he was the most giving man ever. He would have given the shirt off of his back to anyone. He had a heart of gold. He was such a caring grandpa. The grandkids could ask him for anything and he would try his best to do it. Everyone left his house with a full stomach. He made friends with everyone he met. He was a truly caring man and he will be dearly missed. Goodbye Grandpa Mike. Love you Baby. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Valley View Memorial Park (4400 W. 4100 So.). Friends and family may call from 11:30 – 12:30 on Wednesday at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State St.).
