It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Adolfo Candia Amador, who left this world peacefully on September 30, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born on November 11, 1932, to Agustin M. Amador and Belen Candia Amador, Adolfo grew up in Murray, Utah, and graduated from Murray High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a Communication Specialist.
Following his discharge, he married Sara Ann Browning on October 6, 1956; they would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year. Together, they raised four children: Daniel, Kimberley, Brian, and Nicole.
Adolfo was a devoted father and grandfather who cherished family gatherings, coaching his sons' Little League football teams, and offering unconditional love and guidance. His passions included golf, fishing, and supporting the University of Utah and Notre Dame football teams.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sara Ann; his children, Brian and Nicole (Abraham); and his grandchildren: Cameron Crayk (Harper, Parks, Milo), Cortney Done (Jared) (Asher), Denielle Amador Carrasco, Zachary Amador, Alexander Kololli, Isabella “Fern” Amador, and Elias Kololli. He was preceded in death by his children, Daniel Amador and Kimberley Amador.
