Anne lived in the Salt Lake Valley throughout her life, where she met her sweetheart Kenneth Reed Sanders. They were married December 16th 1937 in Coalville, Utah and sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. \n\nHer father died of influenza when she was just three years old. She was forced to leave school during her freshman year to go to work and help support her family but was awarded an honorary High School Diploma from Murray High School. \n\nAnne will be remembered for her compassionate service to many friends and neighbors, and for her love of gardening. Her yard full of spring flowers was the envy of her neighborhood and vegetables from her garden were shared by many.\n\nShe was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in numerous callings, her favorite being as a Visiting Teacher. She also enjoyed serving a mission along with her husband to the Venezuela Caracas Mission.\n\nAnne is survived by her six children, Reed (Kathy) Sanders of Riverside, CA, Steven (Karen) Sanders of Las Vegas, NV, Marilyn (Farrell) Barlow of Taylorsville, UT (Currently serving an LDS mission to The DR Congo, Africa), David (Margie) Sanders of Boise, ID, Gary (Barbara) Sanders of Portland, OR, and Kevin (Peggy) Sanders of Taylorsville, UT; 32 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Reed Sanders and her brother David Lawrence Evans.\n\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Murray 29th Ward Chapel, 6300 South 700 West. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, Murray, Utah and one hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. Interment at West Jordan City Cemetery.
