Arlene Waldram Sollis\nArlene W. Sollis, 87, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Taylorsville, Utah. She was born August 25, 1935, to Lowell D. and Edith Bohe Waldram. Arlene graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City in 1953 where she was involved in the A Cappella, Leaders and Bowling Clubs. Arlene met the love of her life, Dean L. Sollis after they began bowling together. They were married in Las Vegas, NV. on October 6, 1956, and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 6, 1971. They were married 52 years until his passing. Arlene was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served numerous callings, including many years as choir director and Cub Scouts den mother. Arlene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She cherished her family and put them first and foremost in her life.\nArlene is survived by her grandchildren: Tiffany Sollis, Alisha Proudfit (Jim), Katelynn Dransfield (Sean), Jason Sollis (Stacey), Chantell Sollis (Eve) and Tisha Larkin, ten great-grandchildren: Matthew Proudfit, Flynn and Lelianna Dransfield, Carson, Jace and Kenna Sollis, Kaiden Timm, Grayson Campbell, and Dakota and Ryan Jones, her sister Barbara Harper (Jim) as well as many nieces and nephews.\nArlene was preceded in death by her husband Dean, her sons Scott William and Craig Dean, daughter-in-law Millie Sollis, brother Ken Waldram, sister Shirley Mullet, infant sister and her parents.\nFuneral services will be held Saturday January 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Val Verde Stake Center, 500 West 2651 South. A viewing will be held Friday January 27 from 6:00 -8:00 pm and 1 hour prior to her services at the same location.\nThe family would like to extend their appreciation for all of Arlene’s caregivers.
