She had been living in The Ridge Cottonwood for several years in Holladay, Utah. She had touched many many lives during her 90 years. She lived a Noble, Giving Life as an Elect Lady. Her Testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ was firmly etched into her heart. She knew her Savior and Redeemer and shared that Testimony with her Posterity. She had a love for good Music. Her Father – Fredrick Mros, Jr. – learned to play the Piano and Organ on His own in the Cathedrals of Germany. When he immigrated to America, he then spent the rest of his life teaching Arline and many of his posterity that “Music is what feelings sound like”. Arline accompanied many a choir or musical groups and individuals. She was good at it. She also was called to be the Ward Organist and served for countless years there. But, more influential than anyone else, she taught her Children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren a Love of Good Music. Our Mother was the force behind practicing.\r\n\r\nArline and her future husband, C. Mark Wright, had known each other for many years. Mark worked at a sheep camp for several years, then he went into the Paratroopers and then he went to serve the Lord in Belgium France – On an LDS Mission. When he came home from his mission, his desire was to marry and have a family. Arline was the “one” he wanted, but she had another young man who wanted her. So, she had both of the two young men meet with her – together – in the living room of her home. She just sat there and asked them both some questions and it was her desire to pick one of the young men that night to marry. After a while, she was getting a bit concerned, when, as she says it – she looked at both of them and when she looked at Mark, she felt as though she was on fire. The Holy Ghost had confirmed the choice with her. She would mention this experience from time to time – and she never once denied it, but knew that God wanted her to marry Cleeo Mark Wright.\r\n\r\nArline was the Oldest of three children, and the last to be called back. She and her Sister Norma were inseparable. Fred, on the other hand had a hard time with his two older sisters.\r\n\r\nArline grew up with her mother – Esther Johanna Hilgendorf Mros – teaching her to be a meticulous seamstress. Esther was taught by her Father – who was a second generation Taylor from Germany. Arline was a craftsman and made countless dolls and other items to give to her posterity. \r\n\r\nIt wasn’t very long after Arline’s marriage that her Husband, Mark, was called to be the New Bishop of the Millcreek 8th Ward. Following the call as a Bishop, Mark was called as the New Stake President of the Millcreek Stake. During this time of service, Stake Conference was held every 3 months – on Saturday and two main Sessions on Sunday. Almost every Stake Conference had a Visiting General Authority or two or three. On Sunday, there was always a dinner in-between the two sessions for the Stake Presidency and the General Authorities and their wives. Most of the time, that dinner was held at our home on 600 East. We can still remember almost every General Authority visiting our Home and we children got to interact with the General Authorities and their wives. Arline was the perfect hostess and always had everything perfect. \r\n\r\nArline is survived by 6 of her seven Children and 1 adopted Daughter: Shelley Mark (Barbara), Markine, Esther Halliday, Shane Fredrick (died: May 30, 2018) (DeeDee), Scott Sherman (Paula), Shannon Paul (Terrie), Holly Wright Erickson, Shaun David (Julie) She also has 36 Grandchildren with 31 spouses and 80 Great-Grandchildren with 1 Spouse and 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter (Total Posterity = 161)\r\n\r\nA viewing will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street, Murray, Utah.
