Beloved daughter of Aberdeen Marie Robbins-Martinez & Michael Devin Martinez, treasured sister of Pippin Marie Martinez

Arwen came into this world early in the morning on October 14th, 2026. She had thick, curly dark hair, dark skin, big dark eyes, and one folded “elf ear”, so fitting for her namesake. She loved to keep her hands curled up by her face (even in the womb!) like she was ready for this world, ready for a brawl!

She was eagerly anticipated by many family members long before God blessed us with her. Pippin was so excited to have a baby sister, and we couldn’t wait to see Ari grow and show us her personality, interests, talents.

She was so ready to be here, despite her late arrival. Her life may have been short, but it had the deepest impact. It was enjoyed at home, surrounded by her family.

Arwen was so full of expressions, curiosity, and was such a content baby. She loved her swing and blankets, and LOVED to eat! She also loved gazing up at the purple and orange Halloween lights we have hanging on our walls. During cuddles and feeds, she loved to gaze up at them, switching sides now and then, and would fall asleep in our arms.

While we know our little Ari is with Jesus, and her uncles, we will always look to the day we can embrace her again. She is our guardian now, and her little life has changed us forever.

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 2nd from 11am-11:45am at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home with funeral services following at 12pm (4760 South State Street Murray Utah).
