Barbara Fay Ward Baxter

Barbara Fay Ward Baxter, 78, passed away on Oct. 1, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born in Holladay, UT., on May 20, 1930 to Brigham Iril and Ealenes Stanley Ward. Mom has been reunited with her sweetheart of 57 years Willard “Bill” Norr Baxter. They were married on June 17, 1949.
Barbara was a very creative and gifted all around mother. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, fishing, hunting, canning, and bingo. She truly was the all American loving mom, grandma, nana, and friend.
Barbara leaves behind her children, Vickie, Sheryl (Dennis) Jensen, and Bill W. Baxter; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Stan Ward; sister in-laws Emma Lou, Rosie, and Jan; brother in-law, Ray Baxter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, mother, and father.
Funeral services will be held Monday Oct. 6, 2008 at 11:00am at the Deuel Creek Ward, 690 North 400 West in Centerville, Utah. Friends and family may call from 5-7pm on Sunday Oct. 5 at Jenkins-Soffe (4760 South State Street, Murray,UT) and also one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
