Barbara G. Faerber Lindeman Obituary (1930 - 2017)

Passed away peacefully Sept. 13, 2017 in South Jordan, UT. Born March 24, 1930 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She loved the Savior and her fellow men. She said, “I have found we can choose to be cheerful.” She lived by and often quoted the old saying, “Trials, difficulties and challenges are necessary, but misery is optional.” She and her husband served a mission on Temple Square. She traveled to many countries all over the world and spoke three languages. Her greatest joy was her family and friends. If you knew her, she loved you. She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy R. Lindeman, her parents Friedrich and Gertrude Faerber, siblings Ruth (Walt) Towsley, Fred (Gloria) Faerber, son-in-law Lynn H. Smith and great-grandson Declan C. Read. She is survived by her daughter Darlene L. Smith and son Russell L. (Linda) Lindeman, brother LeRoy G. (Kathy) Faerber, 13 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S), South Jordan, Utah, with a viewing from 12:30 – 1:15 pm. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Estates.
