Funeral services for Barbara MacNeil will be broadcast on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM MST.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBarbara (Bobbie) Jean MacNeil passed away March 22, 2021 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born on October 6, 1939 in San Bernardino, California to Clarence Clements (Chick) and Lyla Clements. \r\n\r\nShe was married to the love of her life, C. Dean MacNeil, for 63 years. They met at S&M Skating Rink. Dean and Bobbie were married on Friday the 13th in December 1957. They spent many years camping and fishing in the Uintahs. Later, they had many adventures on their Harley. Bobbie’s doting husband, Dean, spent many years taking excellent care of her.\r\n\r\nBobbie’s #1 hobby was family! She loved crocheting, crafts and sewing. Bobbie’s favorite holiday was Christmas.\r\n\r\nBobbie is survived by her husband, C. Dean MacNeil; daughters Kim Law (Rob) and Tammy Giles (daughter); grandchildren Kassie Coy, Loni Reed, Alyx Gonzales, Bradley Giles, Stacie Giles, Charvel MacNeil, Nicholas MacNeil, and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Tim MacNeil, son-in-law Scott Giles, grandson Jason Hansen, brother Clint Clements, and her parents.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank the nurses, aides, social worker and chaplain at Summit Hospice.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 am at the funeral home. The funeral will be broadcast live at www.jenkins-soffe.com. A link will be found at the top of the obituary. Interment at Riverton City Cemetery. Masks must be worn at all times.
