“Bette”\nBessie Jean Frame Willden, 86, passed away February 15, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Murray, Utah on May 19, 1924 to Daisy and Robert Frame. She grew up and attended school in the Murray area and graduated from Murray High School, where she was a cheerleader along side her older brother, Ruehl.Bette married her sweetheart, Dale Riley Willden, on April 16, 1945 while he was on leave from service in the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II. The family settled in Midvale in 1956 where she resided until her death.Bette’s life was one of service and devotion to her family. She loved to host large family gatherings, particularly on holidays, where everyone enjoyed her best dishes. She loved her Utah Jazz and beating “the boys” playing cards. She cherished the friendships she made from her working days at the Village Bakery. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.Bette is preceded in death by her husband, parents and eight siblings. She is survived by her children, Tamara (Terry) Jensen of Midvale, UT and Norm (Gail) Willden of Crystal River, FL; six grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Leola Dudley, Ida Painter and Gin Frame.A viewing will be held Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street in Murray. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 21, 2011, 11 a.m. at Union Fort 5th Ward, 6770 S. 500 E., with a viewing prior at the church at 10 a.m. Interment at Wasatch Lawn.
