Betty Nell Reese

“Together Forever”
Betty Nell Reese passed away March 10, 2008. She was born in South Salt Lake, Utah on October 7, 1925 to Carl and Nellie Davis Olsen. Married her sweetheart, Nyle Henry Reese, on August 11, 1944 in Murray, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple May 25, 1965; he passed away September 12, 2005.
She was a member of the LDS Church, where she served in many callings. She was an excellent homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She loved needlework and crocheting.
Survived by her two daughters, Sue (Rick) Gelino and Brenda Reese; grandson, Nyle Layne (Kathy) Boyce; great-grandsons, Nyle Chase Boyce and Justin; and great-grandchildren, Mikail and Mikilah and Zack. Preceded in death by her sister, Virginia; and brother, Billy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 12 noon at the Ridgedale LDS Ward, 3400 So. 1100 E. Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
