Beverley Opal Ryan Bates Obituary (1931 - 2015)

Our angel Mother, Beverley Opal Ryan Bates passed away peacefully on January 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Words cannot express the love and loss we feel for our sweet mother. Mom lived a life of love and service to all who knew her. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She was the "best" at everything and will be remembered for her warmth and gentleness. Mom was a humble woman who never complained even when her health deteriorated so quickly. She was such an example of courage and faith. Mom is survived by her 5 sons and sweet daughter in laws. Gene (Carolyn), Ron (Patty), Mike (Cindy), Curt (Kris), Dave (Lori) 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her eternal companion William Edward Bates, parents Kenneth Ryan and Opal Provost Ryan, son Jeffrey Lee, great granddaughter Shelby Ann Jenkins, brothers Marvin, Gary and Richard Ryan. We love you Mom and will miss your sweet hugs, your unconditional love and positive attitude. Viewing will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 S.) followed by Funeral Services at 1:00 pm.
