Beverly Dawn Elton Hodge

Our wonderful Wife, Mother, Sister & Grandmother died peacefully at home on April 2, 2010 at the age of 82. Beverly was born on April 25, 1927 in Dividend to Calvin W. Elton and Melpha Nelson Elton. She attended school in Eureka, Utah. She met and married the love of her life Calvin Hodge October 29, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah.Beverly was a homemaker and past president of the Murray Junior Women’s Club. Mom will be missed for her quick wit and wonderful cooking. Cal and Beverly moved to Hawaii, living there for 7 years. They loved to travel and visited Alaska, China, and England just to name a few.Preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Melpha; seven sisters; one brother. Survived by her six children, Jill Curtis (West Jordan) Wendy Hodge (Georgia), Mark (Karen) Georgia, Craig (SLC), Candy Robinson Guy (Murray), and Jack (Sandy); four granddaughters; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.A celebration of Mom’s life will be held Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00-10:45 am prior to the funeral service. Interment Mt.
