“Mother, Grandmother”\nBeverly Lois Wilkins Mounteer LaPutka died March 25, 2007 at the Silverado Senior Living. She was born May 6, 1930 to Edward Alton Wilkins and Leone Pansie Humphrey.\nShe married Floyd Wallace (Bud) Mounteer, later divorced. She married Luke LaPutka; he passed away in April of 2006.\nShe is the mother of five children; Floyd Wallace (Buddy) Mounteer Jr., Phoenix, Arizona, Ricky Lynn Mounteer, Midvale, Max Edward (Holly) Mounteer, West Jordan, Cynthia Lee (David) Francisco, Montrose, Colorado and Mitch LaPutka, Glendale, Michigan.\nBeverly was affectionately known as “The Dragon”. She worked in retail most of her life. She was a valued employee at the Western Ranch Store in Murray, Utah and later at Immigration Outfitters. She loved music and had a beautiful voice. She knew a lot of songs and even in her last months here on earth would sing some of the country greats remembering all the words. She could look through pictures and tell you who was in them and what they were doing.\nShe has 17 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. She has 2 brothers; Jerry (Gayle) Beckstead, Wyoming, Gail Beckstead, Sandy, 2 sisters; Geniel Herrera, Sandy and Diane (Lowell) Davis, Florida.\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, Christina and a sister; Wanda.\nThe family would like to thank the care givers and staff at the Silverado Senior Living Center for their love and compassionate service to our mother.\nFuneral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Murray, Utah. Friends may call from 11:00 – 12:15 p.m. on Friday at the mortuary. Interment will be at Sandy City Cemetery.
