Bonnie M. Christensen

Bonnie was born in Tooele, UT. Her parents were Calvin and Della Boynton Mickelson. She met LeRoy Christensen in Manti and later married him.

Bonnie was a farmer, seamstress, school bus driver, and had various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed her family, and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and her pets. She attended Discovery Christian Community Church in Salt Lake City.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Louie Christensen; Leona Talanoa; Kent (Cheva) Christensen; Sandra (Elton) Schmidt; Susan (Stan) Webb; and Jill (Norm) Kelly; She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Christensen; daughter, Kathryn Holman; grandson, Phil Holman; and great-grandson, Skyler Webb.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street. Viewings will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9-10 a.m. Interment: Manti City Cemetery.
