Bounkhong Somchanmavong

Bounkhong Somchanmavong, was taken from us at the young age of 53. He peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Monday, March 16th.
Born and raised in Vientiane, Laos. His family were war refugees and came to the US in 1988. He is married to his wife Bay of 29 years.
Bounkhong attended AMADA Technical Training School in Buena Park, CA and graduated with his diploma on Press Brake with a major in NC9EX Press Brake Operations. He specialized in metal work and fabrications.
Bounkhong loved music and singing. He had his own band and enjoyed performing at all of the major parties. You know there is a party going on when he’s transporting his electric piano and his 2000 watt speakers. His salt water fish tank is his pride and joy. He owns several species of corals, anemones, marine plants and salt water fishes. He’s enjoyed building decks for his friends and families and outdoor gardening. His hobbies include fishing, football, basketball, tennis, soccer and ping pong.
Bounkhong is survived by his wife Bay; his two sons, Boualay and Jason and his daughter Mariah. He is also survived by his loving relatives living in the US and Laos.
