Carmen Luveen Thomas Whetman Obituary (1978 - 2011)

“Carmie” Our amazing Carmie, the jewel of our family, the light of our lives returned home into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and her baby boy on March 12, 2011. Carmen married the love of her life Steven Whetman on June 9, 2001. She was an amazing mother and loved playing with her little girl, Tyla. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed camping, boating and movie nights with the love of her life, Steve. Carmen was an amazing happy person and radiated that happiness to everyone around her. Carmen was an angel here on earth always doing something for someone else and enjoying every minute of it. She is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughter, Tyla (5); her parents, George and Carma Thomas; her brothers and sisters, Richard (Christina) Thomas, Wayne (Dawn) Thomas, Warren(Julie) Thomas, Dike (Patty) Thomassen, Bonnie Morrell, Carla (Loren) Ludlow, Bart (Michelle) Thomas and her two dogs, Maggie and Nikki. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bryan Thomas. Enjoy your Heavenly paradise Carmie. We will see you soon. Funeral Services will be held at Utah South Stake Center 2946 Swainsan Avenue (take Village Parkway off Redwood Road) in Saratoga Springs on Thursday March 17, 2011 at 11:00 am. Viewings will be held Wednesday March 16th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 S) and Thursday from 10-10:45 am prior to the services at the church. Interment at South Jordan Cemetery.
