Carol Bailey LaRocco, 91, peacefully passed away July 14, 2021, in Riverton, Utah. She was born in Magna, Utah on April 30, 1930, to Mark Spence and Lettie Mildred Wright Bailey. They moved to Murray in 1941 where she lived for 75 years. She graduated from Murray High. Carol worked at Murray Music where she met her sweetheart Franklin Samuel LaRocco. They were married February 15, 1952, in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving in many callings, including a mission in the LDS archives and a five-year temple mission. She was a woman of faith who loved her Savior.\r\n\r\nCarol was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy was her family. She had many talents, some of which were developed later in life, such as playing the piano and machine embroidery. When grandchildren and great-grandchildren were married or born, she gifted them a handmade quilt.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters, Luella and Lugene. She is survived by five children, Richard (Julie), Lori (Randy) Roberts, Linda (Doug) Miller, Alan (Alice), and Craig (Ximena), 26 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and sister, Barbara Park.\r\n\r\nA viewing will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary in Murray from 6-8 PM. An additional viewing will be held Friday, July 23 at the Draper Corner Canyon Stake Center, 13366 S. 1300 E. from 11-11:45 AM followed by the funeral at noon. Interment at the Murray City Cemetery.
