Carol Jean Bush Peterson

On May 11, 2013 our brave wonderful mother left this world to enjoy a long awaited reunion with her departed loved ones. Carol Jean Bush Peterson was born in Salem, Oregon on January 10, 1946. First beautiful daughter born of Elizabeth G. Kinsey Bush and John L. Bush. Married Roger Peterson on December 21, 1963. Carol owned and operated Something New Ceramics with her daughter Sherry for over 25 years. She then retired and focused her creativity towards a new hobby of quilting. She loved her family; especially her grandkids. We will forever treasure the many quilted items she so generously gave her family and friends as well as donating her fabulous work to charitable organizations. We love you mom! Carol is survived by her husband Roger; children; Sherry, Betty Jo, John, Debbie and Cheryl, and sister Joan and step-sister Juanita. Preceded in death by her father John, mother, Elizabeth, sisters Jane and Jackie.
Carol's celebration of life will be held on Sunday May 26th at the Bingham Lions Club located at 320 Hillcrest St., Bingham Canyon, UT 84006 from 2pm to 5pm where you may come and join us in great conversations about how she touched and enriched our lives. Special thanks to her good friends Dorothy and Shelli and the Sew Survivors, as well as her life-long friends Judy West, Cantril Nielsen, and Jane McNair, and Rocky Mountain Care Facility.
