Carolyn Smith

Carolyn Mitchell Smith left this world on December 12th 2025, 80 years from the day she entered it.

Born December 12, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Genevieve McNeill and Ralph Waldo Mitchell. Married August 30th, 1965 in Salt Lake City to Vaughn Wilcox Smith.

Carolyn was known to many as "The Avon Lady." She ran a successful part-time business for decades selling Avon, which allowed her to be at home to raise her child. Her business fostered many friendships with her customers around the area. In her spare time, she had a passion for gardening and was an adept seamstress.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 60 years, Vaughn; daughter, Traci (Anthony); brother, Brent (Mercedes); sister-in-law, Carlene and brother-in-law, Kent. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Bernadine; brother-in-law, Ray and sister-in-law, Linda.

At Carolyn's request, no in person service or celebration of life will be held. Please feel free to share any memories or photos on her memorial website. In lieu of flowers please plant a tree or nurture a plant in your own garden in her honor.
