She was born April 11, 1928, the daughter of Wilson & Margaret Sweeney. She was raised in Port Glasgow, Scotland. \nShe is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dennis; Daughter, Nannette (Gaylen); Son, Dennis (Brenda); Grandchildren, Paul, Lorna, Duncan, Scott, Sarah K., Sarah B.; Sister, Ann (Frank); Brothers, Peter (Ann) and Jack (Claire); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anne; step-grandson, Ryan; her parents; sisters, May, Greta, Sheena; brothers, Wilson and James; and brother-in-law, Sandy. \nHer life is a beautiful memory, Her absence a silent grief. She sleeps in God’s beautiful garden, In sunshine of perfect peace. In our memory is a beautiful picture, Of a face that is dearer than gold. And those that loved and lost you, The memory will never grow old. \nA celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 20th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So.
