Charleen N. White Obituary (1930 - 2009)

Dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away quietly in her sleep surrounded by her family May 12, 2009. She was born July 11, 1930 to Mary Louise McFee Nickels and Victor R. Nickels in Center Colorado. She was raised in Milford Utah. She married Charles H. White on May 27, 1950. They made their home in Salt Lake City, Utah raising their four children. In 1977 they purchased a mobile home park and resided in Tooele Utah. She and Charlie owned and managed White’s Mobile Home Park for 32 years until Charlie’s death in 2005. Charleen was artistic, generous and entertaining. She was happiest when doing things for others. She loved decorating, crafting, and painting. She spent countless hours creating decorations for weddings, showers, and holidays. She generously supplied food, money, or whatever someone was in need of. She and her husband were members of the Church of Christ. She donated much of her time to their events. She was a member of Eastern Star Lodge (Pioche, Nev.) We will all miss her adventurous stories and everlasting sense of humor. Charleen is survived by sons Charles “Charly” (Rose), Chad (Carol) and daughter Cherron Phelps (Walker) and son-in-law Robert Borgeson. Grandchildren Alexis Crockett (Kevin), Agusta Golavar, Charlie I., Elizabeth White, Vernon Borgeson, Danica Leon, Brieana Shipley, Taryn White, and 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, and daughter Chvonn Borgeson. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Christus St. Joseph Villa. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. Graveside service will be held at the Milford Cemetery on May 16, 2009 12:00 p.m.
