C. Elaine Stewart Abel Obituary (1932 - 2016)

1932 ~ 2016 Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wonderful friend left this existence on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 with family by her side. She was born December 17, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of Berneice Hill and Glenn Herman Stewart. She will be remembered for her service and unconditional love to others. She found great joy watching her children participate in activities. She spent countless hours encouraging them from the bleachers. She loved serving in the Church and in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved traveling around the world with Bob. She is survived by her sweetheart, Robert (Bob) Abel; children, Kris (Wayne) Keys, Brad (Barbara), Jeff (Holly), David (Carolyn) and Jason (Linda); 15 grandchildren; and 4 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and son, Stephen. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Lincoln Heights LDS chapel, 601 E. Mansfield Ave., South Salt Lake. Viewings will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, and from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
