Claudia R Bennion, who lived for 77 wonderful years but was forever 21, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023 at her home in Mt. Pleasant. The only daughter of Bernard J and Pearl Shields Ruiz. She was raised in SLC, where she met and married her true love, Ronald M Bennion on November 27, 1963. Claudia was a successful SL Real Estate Agent until retirement when she and Ron moved from Murray to Mt. Pleasant where she fulfilled another dream of owning horses and other farm life while being near her older brother and family. She was an active member of Heritage Baptist Church where she enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship. Claudia loved fiercely, and not only her family and friends (who also became her family), but she had a passion for animals, great and small and loved them well. She enjoyed traveling with Ron and their “biker family” across country, anything that sparkled, and she never backed down from a challenge. “Though she be but little, she is fierce.”\n\nClaudia is survived by her husband Ron of Mt. Pleasant, daughter Rochanne (David) Teems of Rome Ga, brother Robert (Tracy) Ruiz of West Jordan, grandchildren Dustan Teems, Colton (Chloe) Teems, and Caylen Teems all of Georgia. With respect Todd (Camie) Bennion of LakePoint.\n\nPreceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Richard Cano, Richard Ruiz, Ronald Ruiz, Michael Ruiz, and her grandson Dyllin Bennion.\n\nFuneral Service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm with a viewing 11:00am – 12:30pm prior to the service under the direction of Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary at 4760 South State Street, Murray, UT.
