1/8/1942 ~ 12/4/2018
Our beloved, cherished, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Claudia Lee Murano Moore died on December 4, 2018 in the company of many who loved her.
Born in Bingham Canyon, Utah on January 8, 1942 to Ralph Murano and Caroline Pantalone Murano. Claudia spoke fondly of growing up in Bingham and often shared memories of this unique place. She met Thomas K. Moore at her alma mater, the U of U, and they were married in 1965. Kelly and Claudia were solid and constant companions their entire adult lives. Claudia led a busy life, raising two daughters and working as a professional technical writer, a career she enjoyed very much. She was a natural beauty and instilled an appreciation of nature and conservation in her family and was recycling long before blue cans dotted curbsides. She was an avid reader, interesting conversationalist and any time spent with her was always stimulating.
Claudia is survived by her husband, Kelly; daughters, Hilary and Jill; son-in-laws, Chad Jensen and Oren Gottfried; special nephew and niece Christopher Evans and Melodie Hundley. She dearly loved her three grandchildren: Madeline, Jack and Caitlin. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, Carol Evans, and brother, Robert Murano.
We will forever carry her heart in our own. Family and friends are invited to an open house in honor of Claudia’s life on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2 pm at her home in Murray.
