Lt. Colonel \nUSAF RetiredConrad Harry Odle, Jr. passed away January 9, 2010 in West Valley City, Utah after a short battle with cancer.He was born July 7, 1921 in Louisville, Kansas to Conrad Harry Odle Sr and Grace Mae Odle. He married Myrtle Joy Andersen on December 9, 1943 in Marceline, Missouri.His family was dearest to his heart and he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.He was a patriot first and foremost, always demanding respect for flag and country. He was an avid outdoorsman and taught his family to love and respect the land and nature. He enjoyed traveling in his Airstream trailer with Myrtle, and bowling with his daughter and friends.Harry is survived by his daughter Sherry (David) Boll, son Tom (Carla) Odle, grandchildren Corinne (Kelly) O’Hara, Aubrey, and Colin Odle, and great grandchildren Mason, Taylor, Emmalee, and Cole O’Hara. He is also survived by his brothers Jim and Bob Odle and preceded in death by his beloved wife Myrtle, mother, father and bothers Tom Homewood and Duane Odle. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 6 - 8 PM Thursday the 14th of January or one hour prior to the funeral services at 11:00 AM Friday the 15th of January at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street in Murray, UT.In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations in Harry’s name to the charity of your choice. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens immediately following the services.
