Constance (Connie) Jo Schoen passed away February 12, 2009 from complications due to a stroke.\n\nConnie was born in Peoria, Illinois to Charles and Lillian Asher. She was one of ten children, and married William Francis Schoen in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 7, 1987. They were married for 22 years and had one daughter, Ashley Elizabeth.\n\nConnie was a homemaker and loved every minute she spent with her family, creating the perfect home.\n\nConnie was a friend to everyone she met and would do anything for the people she loved. She enjoyed traveling, watching Utah Jazz basketball games, taking her dogs for walks and seeing movies with her family.\n\nConnie was an angel. In biblical days angels were sent to earth from heaven as messengers, and Connie brought a message of love to all of us. In days we felt down and did not know where to find shelter, she was there for us. In times we felt lost and alone, she taught us to continue—not to struggle, but to embrace life.\n\nShe was a kind soul and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.\n\nConnie is survived by her husband, Bill; her daughter, Ashley; mother, Lillian; sisters, Sandra (Dave) Torres, Susan (Bill) Jones, Debra Wilson, Virginia Asher, Charlotte (Dave) Scarborough; brothers, Scott Asher and John Asher; along with many nieces and nephews; and also many amazing friends that she loved dearly. Connie is preceded in death by her father, Charles; brothers, Chuck and Todd; nephews, Jason and Anthony; and mother-in-law, Clarice.\n\nA memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009, 12:00 Noon, at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 South), where friends and family may visit from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
