Christal Marie Burgin Obituary (1975 - 2013)

Christal Marie Burgin, our wife, mother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 37 on May 18, 2013. Christal was born on June 14, 1975 to John D. Herrin and Lila W. Herrin in Salt Lake City, Utah. Christal met her "Big Bear" Anthony Ray Burgin in the Spring of 1991. They have been blessed with their 6 children: Alec Ray, Jeremy Jay, Brennen Drew, Landon Nicholas, Brianna Alyssa, and Ambrielle Lindsey. Christal was a strong mom who always was there to stand behind her family 110%. She was always excited to spend time with her family every chance she got! She loved her purses, books and all her "girly stuff". Christal is survived by her husband; children; parents, John (Cheryl) Herrin, Lila (Wayne) Herrin-Stewart; brothers, John Holland, Christopher (Kathryn) Herrin; "sister", Jenniffer Allen; her in-law family; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Dwain and Lila Wade and Claude and Dorthy Herrin. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Murray, with a viewing prior from 1:00-1:45 p.m. The family would like to suggest casual dress.
