Dale Thomas Naylor died peacefully at his home Saturday June 23, 2007 surrounded by his wife and their children. He was born April 2, 1922 in Eureka, Utah the oldest son of Thomas W. and Leona R. Hicks Naylor Sofonia.\n\nMarried Gayle A. Larson August 7, 1953, later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple July 22, 1975. Survived by Wife, and their Children, Tim (Heidi) S.L.C.; Julia (Patrick) Brady, Murray; Pamela (Mark) Olson, Sandy; Thirteen Grandchildren (one great-grandchild due in September), Sisters Illean Breeze (Marvin) Stewart, St. George; LaVon (Jack, deceased) Boulton, Midvale; Brother Ron (Chris) Sofonia, Sandy.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother Boyd, and Granddaughter Brittany Brady.\n\nAttended West High School, Veteran of WWII. Retired from Greyhound Lines after a long safe driving career.\n\nDale was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and devoted his life to them. He enjoyed camping and visiting with friends and family. His greatest joy came in serving others. If something was broken, you could take it to Dad and he could fix it. Dad in his later years always said, “He was too old to be good looking so all he could do was be neat and clean”. Dad, see you in the spring if we get through the mattress.
