Danny Fitzgerald, 70, passed away July 7, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah from complications following a stroke. \n\nBorn January 20, 1952 in Murray, Utah to Paul and Betty Jean Webster Fitzgerald. \n\nMarried Patricia Rosenlund on May 26, 1977. \n\nHe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved his family, teasing his grandkids, tinkering in his shop, camping, vacationing and fishing in Alaska with his brother-in-law and son. Danny was generous and would help anyone in need. He was often the person everyone would call when they needed advice or help.\n\nDanny started working in excavating at a young age with his father and later started his own company that he ran successfully for 30 years. \n\nSurvived by his wife Patricia, sisters, Paula (Rulon), Becky (Dennis); children, Danette, Jennifer, Randy (Jamie), Kimberly (Kenny), Jessica (Bryan); 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.\n\nPreceded in death by parents, brother Michael, sisters Sandra and Debra and his close friend Danny Doyle.\n\nFuneral Services will be held Thursday July 14, 2022 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 1007 W South Jordan Parkway at 11:00 a.m.. Viewing for friends and family will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and on Thursday at 10:00 - 10:45 a.m..
