David Brandon Lloyd, a trickster brother and handful of a son, was born October 8, 1983 and died September 26, 2021. He graduated from Alta View High School in 2002 and went on to work in plumbing and HVAC. He excelled in his profession because, aside from sarcasm and trickery, he was a master at working with his hands. He took pride in all his work. He had an engineering mindset, and you could see it from childhood. Growing up he was so curious about the world and how things worked. With that he broke or tore apart everything that had a motor or wheels. In fact, that’s why he could fix anything. He also attributed that skill to his dad, who he said taught him so much growing up. Fixing things was also the way he showed love. Sometimes he would sneak in and out without saying a word and all that you would find was a note in the dust saying, “sorry for the mess” or marker on the pipe he repaired saying “love you.” Another sure-fire way to know that David loved you was if he picked on you. He loved playing pranks. His sense of humor was odd to most, but you always knew he was having a good time by looking for the hardly noticeable “David smirk” on his face. He was also determined and resilient; he knew what he wanted and went at it with tenacity. Now, David is onto his next adventure. We’ll remember him for everything he was at his core, an intelligent, sarcastic, and loving trickster.\n\nDavid, you’re a fart blossom.\n\nDavid is survived by his mother, Vickie Lowe, and his siblings: brother: Daniel (Kelli) Lloyd; and sisters: Elisha (Nico) Suazo, and Monika Lowe-Neal. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Steven Lloyd.\n\nA visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah.
