To watch this service, please click on the link below. \n\n Click HERE to view Funeral Services for David Reeve\n\nThe saying that “only the good die young” was reaffirmed on September 28, 2020, when David Arthur Reeve passed away unexpectedly after complications from a car accident, at the age of 66.\n\nDavid was born to Rex C. Reeve and Phyllis Mae Nielson on December 21, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT, the youngest of 7 children. He graduated from Olympus High School in 1972. He went on to Utah State University and graduated cum laude with his 4-year degree in 3 years in 1976, went on to complete his MBA in 1 year at Utah State University in 1977. In 1980 he received his Juris Doctor degree at BYU. He was a member of the Utah Trial Lawyers Associations and the American Bar Association. He was an outstanding lawyer and through his career he never a lost a case. He married Raelene Hall in 1972 (later divorced) and they had 5 children together.\n\nAs a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a High Councilmen, Stake mission leader, a Bishop twice, Elder Quorum President twice, High Priest group leader instructor, boys scout leader, and he served many years as a home teacher. He loved singing in the ward choir and would often sing in a quartet with his beautiful base voice. \n\nHe loved sports. He played golf, football, ward basketball, and took 2nd in state for wrestling. He was a Jazz basketball and BYU Fan. For the past 7 years, he has been extremely active in Murray sports with his grandson Jeremiah. He taught him how to throw his first ball and made sure he made it to every practice and game during football, baseball, and basketball season. \nDavid had a great love for all of those around him. Devoting his life to service and love, he cared for his parents, Rex and Phyllis, his sisters Becky and JoAnn and his grandson Jeremiah. He has been a lifeline to those around him. Always willing to lend an ear. He truly was everyone’s best friend!\n\nDavid is survived by his beloved girlfriend Debbie Armstrong and her family and his 5 children and 13 grandchildren. Diamond David Arthur Reeve Jr. (Gabriella) children: Logan and Alexandria. Debra Johnson (Landon) children: Elle, Crew, Alexis, Chase, Sienna. Dallin Reeve (Ashley), Diana Limbrick (Tyre) children: Jeremiah, Keziah, Tyre Jr. and Dawn Harrison children: Dominic, Isabelle, Eliza.\n\nFriends, family and all those who loved David are invited to join us Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Murray 23rd ward, 755 East Three Fountains Circle, Murray, Utah 84107. To ensure compliance we kindly ask that all attending comply with the current social distancing guidelines. A private invitation-only funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow.
