To view a video tribute for Debbie Anne Christie Lynch Hatton, please click here. “We Love You Forever” Debbie Anne Christie Lynch Hatton of Salina UT, passed away 12 May 2006 at her daughter's home in West Jordan, UT due to complications of Bronchiolitis Obliterans incident to Rheumatoid Arthritis. Born to Calvin Franklin Christie and Phyllis Martin on 6 Sep 1948 in Seattle, WA. Raised in Puyallup WA and Murray UT. She attended Granite High School, SLCC and the U of U. Married Keith Lynch in 1964, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She helped Keith win back to back NHRA World Championships in Super Stock. They divorced in 1986. She met Larry Hatton at a square dance in 1988; they married in 2001. They loved to dance together. She danced, cued, and taught round dancing. She cued for many years in local clubs, at Fish Lake, and at National Conventions, forming many priceless friendships. Mom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, filling many positions on the stake and ward level. She enjoyed doing genealogy and temple work on behalf of her ancestors – a life long passion. After living 31 yrs in West Valley, she moved to Salina, UT, in 2002 where she enjoyed cleaner air and some special friends. Mom was a sweet spirit who was always concerned about others. We would like to thank Larry for the love and devotion he showed our mother and the endless support he has provided in taking care of her. Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Larry and her nine children: Brent, West Jordan, Ronald (Marisa), West Jordan, Keith Brian (Tawnya), Salt Lake City, Anne-Marie, West Jordan, Christopher, West Jordan, Julie Barrios (Shaun), West Jordan, Jennifer Judge (Mike), Des Moines, IA, Michael (Annie), Salt Lake, and Matthew (Cara), West Jordan, and step-children Lance and Cambria Hatton, SLC. She has 21 grandkids. Sisters and brothers are; Joyce Swannack (Gary) Renton, WA, Ernest Tavernier(Carol) Orange, CA, Laura Christie, Marianne Christie, Misty Christie, Raymond Black, William Christie, (Page, AZ) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah, on Tuesday, 16 May 2006, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, and one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday, 17 May 2006, in the West Jordan Oquirrh West Chapel (6253 W. 6200 So. on the South side). The funeral will begin at 10:30. Interment will be in the Pioneer cemetery in Salina.
