On February 5, 2011 Del Eugene Brady, our beloved and revered father, was reunited with his eternal companion, Donna Hall Brady. He was an honorable and loving man who selflessly served his God, family and country. His example is of a life lived well.
Our father was kind, thoughtful, and loving. He always gave counsel, strength, and help to those who needed it. He taught by example, honesty, dedication and hard work. He was a faithful and steadfast member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He served in the Southern States Mission. He fought with the 10th Mountain Division in Italy and was awarded a Silver Star for gallantry. Dad showed the same bravery and dedication later in life when his wife was ill.
Del leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, wisdom and honesty. Preceded in death by his wife Donna Hall Brady, daughter Shirley Brady Brown, son James Brady, grandsons Scott Murdoch and James Perry.
Survived by Don (Susan), Del (Rebecca), Larry (Debi), Beverly (Steve) Perry, Marie (John) Murdoch, Taylor (Heather), Bob (Linda), Richard (Alicia), Marilyn (Dirk) Hooiman, son-in-law C. Reed (Jane) Brown, and sister Joyce Turnbow. He leaves behind 177 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our family will be forever grateful to him. We will miss his love and wisdom.
The family expresses gratitude to the CNS therapists and Evonne for their loving care.
