Delma Kerr Quick Obituary (1911 - 2005)

“Will be missed” Delma Kerr Quick, beloved, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother passed away December 29, 2005 in Salt Lake City. Born November 27, 1911 to David and Ethel Loder Kerr. Married Leo E. Quick on January 30, 1937 in Salt Lake City. He passed away June 11, 1983. With her husband Leo, they owned and operated Quick’s Inc. in Sugarhouse. Delma was an avid gardner and loved to work in her rose and flower garden. Delma is survived by her children Deloris Lenhart, John (Linda) Quick, Leo (Vikki) Quick, and Delma Quick, 14 Grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Brothers; Walter (Helen) Kerr and Delmar (Mary) Kerr. Sister Peggy (Robert) Sanovich. She is preceded in death by son-in-law Nick Lenhart, Grandson Gary Lenhart, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St.; where friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
