Denice was born on June 11, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John and Valerie Telford. Denice was the oldest of five children. \r\n\r\nDenice loved her family so much! She and Dale met just before Dale was to leave for a two year mission to Canada. When Dale returned it was still love at first sight. They were married three months later in the Jordan River Temple for time and all eternity. Their family grew with the addition of three daughters: Shanae, Nicole and Kayla. Denice loved spending time with her girls. She loved supporting and attending all of their activities including basketball, soccer, gymnastics and especially dance. She loved going to the dance competitions for her girls. \r\n\r\nDenice and Dale loved to travel and were able to take the girls so many wonderful places. Beaches were always a top priority. Dale would plan the air travel and Denice would plan the sight seeing spots. Together they were able to plan and see so many exciting places. \r\n\r\nDenice’s career focused on the accounting profession. She could be found working many hours during the crazy tax season deadlines.\r\n\r\nDenice and Dale then became grandparents and it is true what they say about being a grandparent - that is the best thing ever! Denice loved spending time with her boys Bridger, Gavin, Gunner and Kopelin. They brought her so much joy! \r\n\r\nDenice is survived by her husband Dale Sorensen, her daughters Shanae (Jake) Smithson, Nicole (Steven) Marshall, and Kayla Sorensen, her grandsons Bridger, Gavin, Gunner and Kopelin, her mother Valerie Telford and siblings Debbi (Brent) Cooley, Brett (Laurie) Telford, Leslie (Paul) Boley, and Lori (Benj) Skolmoski. Denice was preceded in death by her father John Telford. Denice also had many nieces, nephews family and friends that will miss her dearly. \r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Riverton City Cemetery, 1500 West 13200 South with a viewing prior from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W.
