Dewey Leon Cannon

1928 ~ 2017
Dewey passed away July 21, 2017, after an extended illness. He was born June 17, 1928 in Prescott,Kansas to Wayne and Georgia Marie Cannon. Dewey was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Cleda Fern Cannon in 2007. He is survived by his three children: Danny (Melissa) Cannon of Murray, Patty (Bruce) Johnson of Herriman and Karla (Florian) Pamer of South Jordan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister. Dad outlived all of his friends and relatives. We know that he is rejoicing being with all of them again.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at Murray Baptist Church, 184 East 5770 South, Murray. Friends and family may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Internment Murray City Cemetery.
