Don W. LeCheminant, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on July 11, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah with his loving wife Shirley J. (Fowler) LeCheminant at his side.\n\nDon was born on November 13, 1938 the 8th child of 11 children born to Lionel and Ruth LeCheminant. He is survived by his wife; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; and his children: Rick and (Mary) Brown, Meg Williams, (Craig) and Michelle Arbogast, Scott Fowler, Dan and (Becky) Fowler, Pat and (Kathy) Brown, (Todd) and Kelly Adamson, Kevin and (Sandra) Brown, Tim LeCheminant, (Rob) and Tina Turner, and (Chris) and Jennifer Bone. Don was a proud Husband, Father and Grandpa. He adored his 36 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, and never missed an opportunity to have one, (or two) of them on his lap at a family barbeque. His quick wit and great sense of humor, accompanied by a sweet and gentle smile, were enjoyed by those who got to know him! He will be missed by all.\n\nDon’s Favorite hobby and passion for many years was raising all types of show pigeons. He also enjoyed working out at the gym and staying healthy.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his parents,; 1 brother; 2 sisters; and 1 son, Kerry Brown.\n\nFuneral Services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St., Salt Lake City. Viewings will be offered at the mortuary Sunday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to service on Monday. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens.
