Dona Vee Fautin Olson, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 15, 2007 due to complications from open heart surgery. Dona Vee was born on April 5, 1928 in Elsinor, Utah to Vernal E. Fautin and Pearl Nielsen. She married Mack D. Olson on October 19, 1948. She found joy in spending a lifetime of caring service to her 6 children and many grandchildren. She was known for her personal Sacrifice in caring for her son, Blair who preceded her in death just 11 days before her passing. She enjoyed the outdoors spending much time camping, fishing, hiking in the mountains and particularly enjoyed the beautiful desert flowers. She treasured traveling, especially with her sisters and instilled that love and appreciation in her children and grandchildren. Dona Vee truly had an adventurous spirit that will greatly be missed! She was a survivor of breast cancer of 6 years, but always had a positive attitude and a love for life, despite the many trials that she faced on this earth. She spent many hours attending ball games, gymnastics, dance performances and many other activities that involved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, her faith in God gave her strength and she recently found peace and comfort in attending the temple. Though her passing was sudden and unexpected, we find peace in knowing that our mother has returned home to our Heavenly Father and is reunited with our brother and sister.\n\nSurvived by husband, Mack Olson, sons; Blaine (Karalee), Leif (Kym), daughters; Lynne (Scott) Carlsen, Terry (Mohsen) Arfai, son-in-law, Larry Butler, sisters; Dale Leivick, LaRue Walker, LaVon (Duff) Shelley, sister-in-law; Dora Fautin, 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
