Don Chambers

Don Chambers passed away peacefully on December 8, 2005. He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Chambers Stoll, and son, Michael Chambers. He is survived by wife Nina G., brother, Ken Chambers, Sister MaryJo Cook, sister-in-law Patty Tompkins, daughters Christine Brock and Cathleen Hurst, son Patrick Kevin Chambers. Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

He served honorably in both the United States Coast Guard and Navy during WWII. He was a life member VFW#3383 in Akron, Ohio and Golden Eagle #1760. He was a kind man who was remembered as Dandy Don and others would always think of his sense of humor as one of his most enduring traits. A very personable and giving man. We will all remember all the special moments with this great man. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Atomic Post VFW #4335 (135 W. 1300 So.)
