Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister returned to her Heavenly Father Jan. 22, 2007 following complications caused by a stroke. She was born Feb. 4, 1926 in Salt Lake City to Ephraim and Eunice Calderwood Taylor. \n\nA graduate of South High, Donna married Guy Timothy Aug. 11, 1944. Together they enjoyed square dancing, working together in family businesses, and their three sons along with their ever expanding families.\n\nAs a faithful and active member of the LDS Church, Donna served with unselfish love and compassion. Donna lived a full and happy life of service to her family. She had a special love for animals.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dee Taylor; and her grandson, Scott Timothy. She leaves behind and will be greatly missed by her husband, Guy; sons, Bart (Cindy), Deward (Kathy), and Kale (Pam); brother, Dale (Mary Jean); sister, Pauline; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.\n\nThe family wishes to thank those at the Woodland Park Care Center who so kindly saw to her needs.\n\nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at the LDS Winder 12th Ward Chapel (4400 S. 1100 E.). Friends and family may call at the Jenkins Soffe Mortuary (4760 S. State St.) from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007 or at the 12th Ward Chapel from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment at Elysian Gardens.
