He is finally reunited with his sweetheart, Selma.\nBorn April 24, 1924 to Elmer C. and Leone Roundy Hale, the third of six children. Served in the US Navy during World War II in radio communications. Served an LDS mission in Upper New York State and was heavily involved with the Hill Cumorah Pageant. Married Selma Price on October 8, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.\nD.R. was a brilliant man; Electronic Engineer, Author, Teacher, Scholar, Inventor. He loved to learn and share his knowledge, had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved hiking and being in the mountains and he loved the gospel.\nSurvived by his children Wayne M. Hale, Sheridan (Dwayne) Hatch, Bradley P. Hale and Nancy (Blake) LaRoque, 1 brother, 3 sisters, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.\nThe family would like to thank the Uintah Care Center for their professionalism and Compassion in caring for their Father. Also a special thanks to Care Source Hospice for their assistance in his last days.\nGraveside services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery (5600 So. Vine Street, Murray). Friends and family may call Monday, July 10, 2006 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State, Murray).
