Doris Ann Knapp passed away on August 25, 2022 following her second battle with cancer.\n\nShe was born on June 12, 1967 to Doris Ball and George Knapp.\n\nDoris was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan and never missed a game. She spent 15 years serving others as a rehabilitation and hospice CNA. Doris would include her grandchildren in all activities hosted by her work. She loved to see the smiles on her patients’ faces as she showed off her grandchildren.\n\nDoris’s family was the most important thing to her. She loved family gatherings and always spoiled her grandchildren. Along with her three children, there were many others who she treated as her own, and included as part of her family.\n\nDoris was blessed to spend the last decades of her life with John Johnson who was her partner in life, her “Duc”, and who she loved dearly.\n\nDoris experienced many struggles in life but developed a firm belief in her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Her faith pulled her through and provided comfort and peace.\n\nDoris was preceded in death by her mother Doris Ball, father George Knapp, stepfather Frank Ratcliffe, stepdad Paul Clifford, nephew Aaron Sweeney, great-nephew Jordan Vieregge.\n\nShe is survived by her life partner, John Johnson; her children Angel (Stephanie), Amber (Aileen), and Erica; grandchildren Gabby, Zoe, Mahalie, Isaiah, and Emmett; siblings David, Collene (Mike), Carma (Leonard), Mike, and Steve. Doris is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends, and was a second mom to Caroline Flores and Taylor Clifford, to name a few.\n\nFuneral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Salt Lake Christian Center, 4300 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, Utah, with a viewing from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment at Midway Cemetery.
