Dylan Carter

On Saturday, December 9, 2023 Dylan passed away due to a tragic car accident at the age of 29. The world lost an amazing son, brother and friend who was truly living life out loud.

Dylan’s love and passion for basketball started at a very young age. He played for Copper Hills High School (West Jordan) where he was given the nickname “CARTERMATIC” for his 3 point shooting and free throw abilities. He continued on to college playing for Snow College, Utah State University and Edmonds College (Washington) until an injury ended his basketball career. He found his way to the corporate world with Mountain America Credit Union.

Above all, he loved friends, family, music and adventures. Dylan was always willing to help anyone in need and his contagious smile made each day brighter.

He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Survived by: Stephanie Carter (Mother), Krushele Carter (Kade), Oke Wiberg (Nelda), Kelly Memmott (Mike) and many cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by: Jeffrey Carter (Father) and Margaret Coull (Grandmother).

Our family would like to thank all that have provided love, support and generosity during this difficult time.

Funeral will be held December 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah 84095. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm.
