Today we allowed heaven to welcome a vibrant spirit: our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and special spirit to all she met. It is time to celebrate and "raise a glass". Mom celebrated every moment and kept a positive attitude and sense of humor to the very end. God bless everyone she touched in her 89 years. She will be dearly missed and remembered by many.
Eileen married William Woodley in 1946, they came to the U. S. with their daughter. While in England, she served in the Women's Land Army during WWII. She worked In the U.S. at Continental Bank and for Avon. Mom loved singing, being the star in many plays, and being a part of the Harmonica Band at Tenth East Senior Center.
Survived by daughter Lynne (Kerry), son Mike (Linda), grandchildren; Nicole (Troy), Shalli (Chris), Jackie (Tim) and Courtney, great-grandchildren; Zach, Brayden, Austin, Ashlei, Brody, Kayla, Colin, Owen and one on the way. Preceded in death by husband, Bill, Parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Coventry Assisted Living; Dr. Brandt, Shane, Cathy with Kindred Hospice, Lindsey, Jessica, Jill, Ashlei Michelle and Justin.
