“Beloved Daughter and Sister"\nElosia Kae Belliston Peterson quietly returned home on July 24 surrounded by her family after a 21-year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis.Born to Spencer Ronald Belliston and Elosia Joan Marlow on September 8, 1965 in Murray, Utah. She was a graduate from Murray High School. Elosia was a hard worker and had a concern for others. She worked at the Cottonwood Care Center where she eventually became head cook. She attended Bank Tellers School and became a bank teller at United Bank in Murray. She continued working in the banking industry until she was diagnosed with M.S.. \nHer first marriage to Ron Smith ended in divorce and while participating in an M.S. Society sponsored physical therapy program, she met Richard L. Peterson. They were married July 6th, 1994. Richard preceded her in death on Sept. 24th, 1998. Her positive and uplifting attitude were felt by those at the Riverside Day Care during her visits there and as she served as a greeter in her church calling. She never made any complaints about having M.S. and made many people smile with her most notable phrase, “You look good today!” She is survived by her parents; sister, Cindy Andrews (Kevin); nephews Scott (Shawndra), Todd (Tiffany), and Logan. Sister, Denise Lehman and niece Hailey Hudson. \nFuneral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 in the Murray 12th Ward Chapel at 363 East Vine Street, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah and one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Appreciation is expressed for services and kindness given. We especially acknowledge Riverside Adult Day Care, CNS Nursing, and Vista Hospice.
