Elvira "Boots" Johnson Crabtree Obituary (1930 - 2016)

Elvira "Boots" Johnson Crabtree, age 86, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2016. Boots was born September 10, 1930 in Murray, Utah to Carl Conrad Johnson and LaPreal Hunt, the third of four children. She graduated from Murray High School in 1948. On March 16, 1951 she married George Marlow Crabtree, later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1988. She was employed as the Office Manager at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary for 47 years. Boots enjoyed working in her yard, walking with friends and spending time with her family. Survived by daughter, Susan Ruff, son Robert Marlow (Kris) Crabtree, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Lovella (Glen, deceased) Green, Arlie Johnson, and brother Gayle (DeeAnn) Johnson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, 12 noon, at the Little Cottonwood 6th Ward Chapel (Brownstone Building), 6410 South 725 East. Friends and family may call Friday, November 25th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church.
