Emily Elynn Liddell passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children and husband on October 26, 2012.
Emily was born in Coalville, UT on July 9, 1942, daughter of Rulon Merlyn and Nora Elynn Walker Moon. She married Dennis E. Liddell in the Salt Lake Temple on May 19, 1967. Emily’s life was devoted to serving others, especially her children and grandchildren.
“Nanna” never missed a recital or soccer game, and relished every moment she could spend with each grandchild. She had a special relationship with each one and will be missed by all of them. She was an amazing example to her children, grandchildren, and everyone she knew, of faith, courage, and determination. Her example taught everyone to not just endure trials and difficulties, but to endure them well and never lose focus of what is really important in life; family, friends and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Emily is survived by her husband Dennis E. Liddell; sons, E. Dennis Liddell (Emme)and Mark R. Liddell(Robyn); daughters, Alicyn E. Ostler (Toby) and Christine D. LeJeune(Chris); brothers, Stan and John Moon; and sisters, Peggy Hogge and Pearl Seargent.
We are so grateful for the thoughts, prayers and service offered on behalf of our family and dear mother.
