Our GrandpaManny was born Feb. 2, 1939 in Seraing Lez/Liege Belgium to Joseph L. and Lea M. Hasoppe. He immigrated to Utah when he was 10 years old. He served in the US Army. He married Carolyn Barnson on Feb. 2, 1963 in Elsinore, Ut. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Jordan River Temple.Manny was the ultimate Grandpa attending all of his grandchildren's activities, driving them to school and even fixing them breakfast. Second to his Grandchildren was his love of golf. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time on the golf course. He enjoyed going with his lighthouse buddies in the morning, solving all the world's problems, then going to the golf course to see who would come home the richest! He loved racing quarter horses and had many stories to tell about his racing. In his younger years, he was the president of the Jester Car Club. He raced street cars, dragsters and snowmobiles. He coached American Legion baseball, and many of his players signed pro contracts. He worked for Gramme Masonry for 30 years, Dave Anderson Masonry, and finished his career with all the great guys at IMS masonry before retiring.Manny is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn. His daughter and son-in-law Stacy and Lyndon Jones, and his son, Todd Hasoppe. Grandchildren: Paislie, Holden, Jantzen, Brekker and Ashby Jones. His sister Andree H. George. In-laws La Vell and Lee R. Jensen. Sister-in-law Ranie (Ron) Mills and brother-in-law Jay (Joyce) Barnson, and many extended family members including nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his loving parents, father-in-law Lorin Barnson and his sister Denise Gramme.Thank you to all the loving neighbors, nurses, friends and family who have provided him love and support to the end.
