Eric Milo Koehler

Eric Milo Koehler, a beloved husband, father, son and grandfather, returned to our Father in Heaven Sunday September 12, 2010. He passed away suddenly due to heart complications.

Eric was born May 24, 1941 in Coleville, Washington to Fred Koehler and Ruth Rosecrans. He was the youngest of 4 children. He is survived by his wife, Kay Jean Koehler, his brothers Fred Koehler and Scott Koehler, and preceded in death by his parents, Carol Koehler (sister) and Tami Koehler (daughter-in-law).

As a Midvale resident for 15 years, Eric loved sports (especially baseball), was a gun enthusiast, loved serving in the LDS church, and especially loved his 8 children, 7 step children, and 33 grandchildren.

Special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the IHC Medical Center and members of the Union Park 1st Ward for their love and care given to Eric.

Funeral and memorial service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Union Park Stake Center, 7699 South Chad St. (785 E), Midvale, Utah, 84047. Viewing will be held Friday, September 17, 2010 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095, and Saturday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 at the Union Park Stake Center. Interment will be at the Sandy City Cemetery.
